Teen Basketball Player Saves 6 Year Old Boy from Gunfire
At a basketball game near Kansas City, gunshots broke out during a fight in the gymnasium. A little 6 year old boy named Desean Merrit was standing on the side of the court watching the game when the shots started. Scared and confused, he yelled for his father who he had just stepped away from moments before the fight started. One of the players named Jullaion Jones ran off the court and covered the young boy with his body. Jones was grazed in the leg by a bullet while covering young Desean keeping him out of harm. When the dust cleared, Jullaion Jones had saved the boy’s life becoming a local hero and proving that selfless acts from natural born heros still exist. Hats off to Jullaion, he is a leader by example.
